The stethoscope comes complete with its main unit, head phone set, A pair of 2 stainless
steel probes and 4 x 1.5 pencil battery set in a specially designed shockproof carrying
case.By holding
the probe in contact with the machine, vibrations from the noise source are picked up,
these are converted into electrical impulses, amplified & fed to the headphones and
the meter. Thus actual sounds can be heard accurately.
