The Spiral heater is useful to heat & mount jobs
like bearings and other rings between a bore diameter of 55 mm to 150 mm. The heater
comes with 2 coils : 1 KW for 55 mm dia to 100 mm dia and 1.75 KW for 100 mm dia to 150 mm
dia. For this range of jobs, mechanical pressing forces become impractical and Bearings
need to be shrink fitted. Because of the thermostat the heater achieves controlled
heating, the end of the heating cycle is signified by both Audio alarm and the visual
Digital temperature indicator. A built in microswitch, ensures equipment can not be kept
'ON' without a job. The supply includes 2 pairs of high temperature handgloves to handle
the hot jobs.
